This is what an INDIAN can be called by and one better knows whom i am pointing to. What do we call ourselves an INDIAN who is full of beliefs ,culture .........What i see in today's generation their is nothing of that sort. Most of the INDIANS i have seen are kind of self centered.And migrating people are the best examples of it. They are not only deceiting their country but they are decieting themselves.What their children or grand-children will say if this situation goes on :"our parents and grandparents were in underdeveloped nation.....".Today in different TV shows ,movies and media sources if any hollywood star wants to compare anything with worst or any bad situation he/she comes across comparing it with INDIA . If any comedian wants to make fun of any country he first takes INDIA. None of these NRI'S or abroad poeple think of it.They just simply go with what is going on.I ask, Had any of these people have thought why only INDIANs in these above context??????

i completely agree....i don't thnk idea of going abroad...is somthing wrong..u can go thr...study earn...bt nvr forget tht ultimately u r an indian..n u hav som responsibilties towards ur own country...so each one should contribute in some small way...

Its true that India is still considered as the 2nd world country and we indians boast upon our culture and beliefs. But, one should also look at the brighter side of India. The fact that India is still the fastest developing country prevails undoubtedly. The so called NRIs leave their motherland for some mere allurement of money, whereas what they should really consider is to retain the brains of India in the motherland and replenish the status that India once had, as the greatest country of the world (during the late 1700s). India is alwayz compared on the lower end but considering the potential that we Indians have, there is no doubt that if the western brain drain is somehow constricted, it can reach at the top. But considering the internal economical condition, it all ends up to dream which is pretty much hard to achieve and even we Indians are skeptical and optimistic about it.
really i dont think there is anything wrong with going abroad.... because there aren't much of the oppurtunities avaliable. why engineer go abroad?? for master's or phd... because there isnt any gud institution(sparing IISC) and the post graduates arn't considered at par with graduates but much worser.
But the trend is just reverse outside India. This is evident for the fact that companies like intel google ms etc are opening R&Ds in India too. If govt is really interested let it supprort phds. It can spend thousand crores in SEZs, other stupid policies but when it comes to funding of premiere institutions they India is a developing country. Well then why people would stay here
and for the responsibility of being an Indian its apparent that NRI's are comming back with their funds to contribute their part to their country. and govt recognizes this opportunity they are getting for free and so relaxing the policies.
The worldwide recognisition that India has got has an important contribution from these NRIs. I really think the the increase in SENSEX (which had recently crossed 17000) has to do with NRIs.
Neither these NRIs has forgotten their culture.Well you can count no. of temples in New York. It can well prove this.
The discrimination was always there from very beginng of civilisation in every scociety in whole world. You just be true.. dont we poke fun of others here itself(for the author donot forget what we here say for people around us(malli)) and in america (black versus white.
