Blindly sitting and blaming government of india for not having much institutions and not having proper environment for growing prospoursly will not work. Just think it is we who decide who should run government.It is we who have to learn how to make our government should run.
And it is not reforms are not being done .In 23th sep "The Hindu" i read there are going to be some 40 institutes for PG's. And some 10 more for UG's. It was the voice of students who cannot afford to go abroad and knocked the education ministers door.
And about stock market its not because of NRI's investment its mainly due to foreign industries and if at all they have invested here they have done for their welfare not for INDIANS.
My friend whatever the drastic change in culture in today's generation is just due to these people .You must have read in recent days newspaper 'police in chennai was at beech to catch couples rather than theives ' or you must have seen couple's at beeches or in disco's at metros
doing all crap . Was this in our culture ?Do our sanskriti taught us these things of not being ashamed of anyone .
I understand u are correct that discrimination was there from the begining of civilization.
but here i am not saying that it should not be there . I want to say why only English folkes can discriminate Indian folkes .It can be the other way around . Which today's generation can do only by realising itself .

Discriminating others the way they discriminated us....doesn't seem to be the part of our culture either especially when you are boating about THE-INDIAN-CULTURE..

Let me tell u my views abt migration... I basically feel Engineers migrate to foreign (US in most cases) b'coz of the opportunities available there. also the US has the best engineering schools and a prospective PhD would always prefer to study in the best. however the reason these guys come back to India may be varied.
And talking about changes in culture I think the fast growing internet is the prime culprit and not the NRIs. How many of NRIs are involved in the cases u mentioned? no one is sure abt the exact figure.... so blaming the NRIs for this sounds absurd. You watch a 100 Holllywood movies, you surf thru 100 blogs, u see 100 orkut profiles and then u will feel to imitate atleast sm of the characters there. The only possible solution for avoiding such scenarios is proper ethical education right thru the schooling years to ur graduation.
and abt SENSEX people invest b'coz they see money here. It doesn't matter if it comes frm FIIs or frm Harshad Desai sensex will always boost as long as money is there.
Why are we blaming developed countries for brain drain or our failure to live upto expectations as a nation.Its very normal for anyone to move for betterment even out of own country as his/her immediate objective is to lead a good life & enjoy everything wht could be bought by money.First come immediate family & rest will follow....... charity always begains at home.........
